As part of our DT project we have been testing which materials are waterproof in Reception ⛵️💦
What a great sports morning our EYFS children had today 🏃♀️🏃
Despite the hot weather 🫠, Year 1 had a brilliant sports day.
Year 1 have planted out their borage and nasturtium seedlings, and are looking forward to them growing big enough to eat.
The Reception children have worked together to create a map of our classroom. Great teamwork! 🗺️
We have been learning all about different types of transport in Reception. We have made our own buses like the one from The Naughty Bus by Jan and Jerry Oke.
We are really proud to have achieved our Emotionally Friendly Settings Award. Two years of working on our well-being offer for children and adults so that everyone can learn and flourish together.
The Reception children have been finding different ways to make houses just like the three little pigs 🐷🏡
As part of our traditional tales topic we have been looking at The Three Little Pigs in Reception. Today we did an experiment to see whether the bricks, sticks or straw were strong enough to survive the wolf huffing and puffing 🐺💨
This week in D&T, Year 1 have had lots of fun designing and making finger puppets.

Spring has sprung in the EYFS garden 🌸🌿 The Reception children have been enjoying their new flower shop. They have done a great job looking after the flowers and taking turns being customers and shop keepers. 💐
The Reception children have been busy making Easter cakes and ended the day with an Easter Egg hunt. What a great way to end the term 🐣🍫

Year 1 have had a wonderful day at RHS Bridgewater. We have learnt so much about plants from the amazing RHS staff and volunteers.

The Reception children have been on a walk around school to look for signs of Spring. We found a beautiful blossom tree, bluebells and daffodils 🌸🌿
Year 2 have been busy making moving monsters
Today is the last day with our ducklings. What a fabulous ten days we have had with them. We have learnt all about their life cycle, we got to watch them hatch and grow and we have done lots of duck related activities. What an experience! 🦆🥚
