Recovering Hacker • Former NatSec Terror Threat Investigator • Storm Spotter

"US officials are now asking themselves why the hackers didn’t go further in causing damage at the water facilities." Maybe because they did it for the lulz. You'd be shocked to learn how much "cyber f*ckery" is done simply because the hacker(s) thought it was funny. www.cnn.com/2026/08/06/p...

Why US water systems are vulnerable to foreign cyberattacks | CNN Politics

A cyberattack on water systems in a dozen states is exposing years of under-investment in critical infrastructure and how US adversaries can threaten services that everyday Americans take for granted,...

Remember kids, when "electively decommissioning" a flock camera you need to clip the wires and leave the battery behind. Or throw it at a cybertruck. There is a gps sensor in the battery pack so anywhere the battery goes can be tracked until the battery dies.

That's easy, "strip clubs". Other than the occasional trips to Chicago, going to The East Side for bachelor parties is the only time a lot of St.Louisans ever went to Illinois. And once a year to go pick apples with the family, because mom insists. Iykyk.

In the beta version of the iPhone update that drops next month one feature caught my attention. With the new update Siri will be able to draft messages in your own voice. What could possibly go wrong?

Its crazy to me that St.Louis county cops were able to grab this woman, who intended to harm herself by jumping off an I-270 overpass, and held on to her until rescuers could safely get her down. And it didnt make the news. Hopefully the prospective jumper can get the help she needs. 🙏

Just finished @micahflee.com book "Hacks, Leaks, and Revelations" and it was excellent. I would expect nothing less from Micah whom I routinely spoke with back in my Anon days, under another name of course. I can say his coverage of the Epik and Parler hacks are spot on as I recall them. Great job!

Cop: "Mr. kent are you aware this is a one way street." Me: "I was backing up and missed my turn. i figured it would be safer to drive forward than backwards so I was gonna go around the block." (this doesnt even make sense) Cop: "That makes sense. Follow the road signs next time. Have a nice day."

Items in the "Back to school deals" section on eBay include a $129,000 ring, $56,000 watch $8,000 gold chain, and of course Ghostbusters Crocs. Clearly I did not go to whatever school they are going back to.

Well shit. I broke it. (For those who aren't mechanically inclined, the item in image 1 is supposed to be inside the void in image 2. Combined they will then turn very expensive fuel into very expensive traffic tickets, basically.)
