Given a lot of y'all out there are stuffers, gainers, and feedees, I thought I might share some tips on how to manage discomfort that I've sussed out over the last few years. Belly rubs actually help! Thank you @hoodiesol.bsky.social for posing for this diagram! Please check out his art, he rocks 💛

A simplified diagram of a digestive system, as demonstrated by @hoodiesol.bsky.social. A stomach and large intestine are highlighted, each with green, clockwise-arrowed circles overlaid on top of them.

Your stomach is right about in the middle-left of your torso.
Give it firm rubs in a clockwise motion to make room,
clear out upper GI gas (burps), and ease discomfort
immediately after eating. If you have reflux, lay on your left side,
as it puts your esophagus above your stomach.
(Side note: this is why visibly stuffed characters often have a
rosy bump on the *top half* of their belly.)

Your lower GI runs clockwise. If you have a bad
“stomach” ache a few hours after eating, it may actually
be gas buildup here. Lay on your side and
firmly rub your entire belly in a clockwise motion.

Repeated, firm downard strokes help
just about everything to stay stimulated
and moving if you feel bloated a few hours
after eating.

These are all very simplified, and
based on personal experience
as a feeder. Be gentle when trying
these techniques on yourself, and
when done with others,
communicate comfort clearly!
