These are a pair of Switch joycons where the right bumper was completely broken off. After stitching everything back together using some 30awg (!) jumper wire, it's back and pressing like new. While inside, we upgraded the joysticks to TMR, drift-free joysticks. #nintendo #gaming #modding #repair

We've got yet another Xbox 360 S (Trinity) in for an RGH3 install! These ones come with an onboard flash chip that's used for storing info. They're basically bound to fail over time. So we got the console itself cleaned up, and then got the flash chip removed.

These Virtual Boys are rare. Only ~700,000 of them were made. They're all ticking time-bombs too. The original LCD cables are GLUED into place rather than directly soldered. The fix is to replace these failing cables with Virtual Boy Eyepatch cables which can be soldered in place instead.

This Xbox 360 was faking a symptom! It had faulty 0402 resistors on the temp sensing circuit, causing it to immediately "overheat". I replaced all of these faulty microscopic resistors, and while it was open, I gave it a full RGH3 install #xbox #retro #consolerepair #gaming
