In this hellscape of a society, cycling from hot box to hot bath to ice bath to kimbap and back again for hours for a reasonable price consistently has had my back and my mental health.

I wanna thank Colombians for being awesome and I’m grateful that a bunch are actively focused on their own lives and not that of a tourist, and also the fact that I experienced certain things that I want to believe are recompense for my Spaniard ancestral nonsense so there’s that 😅
True in audio drama, true in life: we overestimate what we can do in a day, and we underestimate what we can do in a year.
I just saw this, and while I’m sad it was last minute, I am happy to support. It’s been a tough time for indie folks and crowdfunding it feels like, but we should be proud about every step we take to make something new in this world.

I made this the other night while procrastinating, mainly because I thought all the posts about the blackout were boring. It feels like there is momentum bringing people together!
My DIY writing retreat in Colombia has been incredible, but the most impactful and important moment has been my visit to Fragmentos “counter-monument” and art installation in Bogotá of the decades-long national conflict, only resolved in a peace agreement in (where else) Havana, Cuba in 2016.

Something I’ve change recently about how i “consume”, is listening to when I am really “full”. Whether it is food, reading, shopping, social media, drinks, company or otherwise. One of the themes I’m exploring in my writing recently is about hunger, which is one of my personal weaknesses.
