Just realized the sort of hilarity in a "when I die, delete my browser history" way, that I have a folder on my desktop called "Torsos" Jokes on the cops though, it's just cropped screenshots from WoW for making a round in a trivia game.
Now do the inflation adjusted increase in costs of staple things like food and housing! Real Chart For Dinner hours. 25% increase in real annual wages for the bottom 90% when costs of housing are up 300% in the same time. Yeah we're definitely all richer now!

If you parse song lyrics that include the phrase "me, baby" as though they're saying 'my baby' but in a pirate voice, a lot of songs become funnier.
Since the song doesn't actually say anything specific about California girls, isn't it possible that what they're actually saying is "Since we live in California, we wish all these other kinds of girls also lived in California" implying that girls from California were actually not of interest?

"Pretty Lethal" asking the age old question "What if Gymkata had been about ballet?" 90 minutes of absolute nonsense, but sure, who doesn't want to watch a ballerina murder spree?
Watching an action/thriller movie that would clearly be solved by the fact that they all have cellphones. 0:07:10 into the movie we get "Does anybody have cell service? I think we might be in a dead zone." So the story can, of course, continue as written.
In the year since Toronto passed the anti-renoviction by-law, a total of 3 licenses have actually been issued to landlords for showing they had legitimate cause to evict for renovations, while calls from tenants about being evicted over renovations have basically vanished. Just 100% lies from LLs.
It'll take an hour regardless, it's just that when that hour is might not be for 11 months.

I've been to that museum! It's not even a full grown blue whale but it is still HUGE! That museum is also the first time I actually saw an albatross, and was not fully prepared for the extent to which they're just "A seagull the size of a dog."

I think if anybody wants to adapt a thing that has already had at least 20 adaptations or translations, it needs to be, as a hard minimum, at least as novel as "Romeo + Juliet".
