My #ArtFight attacks for this year :DD 1/3

A hand is holding a gumball-eyed popsicle of a red-haired (with rainbow streaks) woman. (This hand belongs to the red-haired woman holding the popsicle, who is walking along the pavement and grass with her friend). The colors from the popsicle's eyes and mouth are leaking everywhere, so it looks a bit scary. The woman is depicted in a speech bubble on the left, saying "Oh... Uhh... That isn't what it looked like on the package... (why does it look like it's crying...?)" to which her gothic friend (depicted in a speech bubble on the right) says "Well... at least yours didn't come with three eyes."

A ventriloquist dummy humanoid version of the character Bill Cipher on abright pink background holds up a gumball-eyed popsicle of his friend (which is another humanoid version of Bill Cipher, depicted with white fluffy hair and one gold fang. The popsicle is smiling, and there are bright light beams and sparkles surrounding it). The ventriloquist dummy Bill Cipher points to the popsicle with his free hand and says in a speech bubble, in all capital letters, "Uhh yeah, can I get five more of these little ugly bastards?" In small written text above the dummy Bill Cipher, parenthesized text reads "he is lying he thinks they're cute".

A cute humanoid hare character (themed after the March Hare Alice in Wonderland character) is sitting and licking a gumball-eyed popsicle version of the Batman Animated series Mad Hatter character. They are depicted in front of a teal background with repeating bunny (or hare) head patterns behind them.

The Disney character Goofy is depicted in summer wear (a open striped blue button up shirt and blue swim trunks) and holding a gumball-eyed popsicle version of the cute poodle woman beside him. He is smiling at her, and with his free hand, he is raising his white sunglasses. The poodle woman to the right of him is also in summer wear (A blue one piece swim suit), holding the blue beach tote bag on her shoulder with one hand, and in the other she holds a gumball-eyed popsicle version of Goofy. She is winking at him and sticking her tongue out playfully. There is a sandy beach, clear blue waves, and a bright blue sky with a few clouds behind them.

Thoughts on faces. Returning to drawing faces and style studies!

Digital art by Jabberwick that emulates a scrapbook or junk journal. In warm autumn tones and accented with a paper border, are a handful of face sketches. They are drawn in a segmented, angular style. Stars and scribbles of eyes dot the page.

A piece of paper at the top of the page reads “THOUGHTS ON FACES, Jabberwick 2025, April 20”
A handwritten note reads: “The trick with this style has been striking a balance between detail & readability- finding that point where the style is present but doesn’t overwhelm the subject. Form is still coherent.”

For sure drawing some of my old Krampus critters this year. Here’s some older art of them for now.

Digital art, monochrome sketches. A Lore page on a magical species called the Krampus, who are related to the Minotaur, and who live in wicker baskets that are bigger on the inside.

Digital art. Loose monochrome sketch. A Krampus with an axe
