my favorite thing about gerd is that it can just pop back up for no reason and punch you in the sternum over and over while making it feel like you swallowed a snake. an angry snake. made out of fire. who hates you.

I decided to upload my 2 hour set from the comfort birthday event for comfy, chroma, and grave i don't think it's my best, but it's my first time playing for two hours, so it felt good to archive. it's drum and bass of various flavors soundcloud.com/vrcstrasz/co...

watching ghost in the shell (new) back to back with chainsmoker cat is an experience gits makes me go "haha cool this is awesome i can't wait to watch the next episode" chainsmoker cat makes me go "this is disgusting and i'm embarrassed to watch it i can't wait to watch the next episode"

i've spent the last week or so in a bit of a haze. my words probably aren't going to add much on top of whatever's been said, but i'll say em anyhow feelings of disappointment, frustration, betrayal are normal. they're going to surface in all kinds of ways. anger, angst, manic solution-seeking, etc

every day i consider deleting every account and just idling in an irc channel. you have to go in there to talk to me. if this journey is not for you, your message is not for me

A note, underlined: one way this statement feels empty is that you cannot listen to voices that have been silenced. Yes, listen to the women who are speaking up about how they feel and how they've been treated. But, also, look around and start asking: who is missing? Who can you no longer hear?

The best way you can offer others grace (and, truly, yourself) is to just listen with the intent to understand. We all have to do a *lot* more listening, I think.
