Big order over the weekend - carrot pecan cupcakes with ermine cream cheese frosting! Using a cooked frosting makes it a bit softer than usual, and it doesn't hold its shape as well, but oh my god, it's too delicious not to use it anyway.

This classic pecan pie is a classic for a reason; it's fucking delicious. This is an older picture so I don't remember what's happening with the crust here, but probably it's that I hate making pie edging and I suck at it, no matter how many I make.
Miniature mincemeat pies are a great Thanksgiving bite. The mixed fruit frilling can be very sweet, so use a more savory crust. Add a citrus zest for a fresh brightness!
Not a traditional Thanksgiving pie, but this strawberry rhubarb pie has fun decorations which are pretty easy to replicate with a steady hand and a paring knife, no cutters needed.
