Recently, TTC PCC #4611 was over the maintenance pit at our museum. This 1951 streetcar is part of our operating fleet and takes a lot of work to keep running. Thanks to volunteers including Jude and Gord for their work on these historical beasts. August 29th, 2026 photo.

It was a cloudy day at our museum back in 1973 when Ron Cooper took this photo. From right to left: Toronto Railway Company #1326, Toronto Civic Railway #55, London & Port Stanley Railway #8, & Toronto Railway Company #327. We had opened to the public the previous year in 1972.

It was a busy day at our museum's East End in this photo from 1973. Credit to Ron Cooper. Holding the trolley rope was Gord McOuat, who still volunteers with us to this day. In the background was TTC Peter Witt streetcar #2424, which is currently undergoing restoration work in our Barn #2.

Our second car barn was under construction in 1976 when Ron Cooper took these 3 photos. This was around 4 years after our museum first opened to the public. At first Barn #2 was for public displays but now it is our maintenance and restoration shop. 2026 photo by Trevor P.S.

Nothing cools you off on a hot summer day quite like a ride on our open-bench streetcar and an ice cream from our "East End Cafe"! Seen here are Museum Members Trevor and Kevin, who are a part of our team of dedicated volunteers. We are open for Thursdays to Mondays in August.

W-28 is a rail-grinder built in 1917 as Toronto Civic Railway #57. The car became TTC #2214 in 1921 and was later converted in a snow scraper, before finally becoming a rail-grinder. 1974, 1978 and 1979 photos were taken by Ron Cooper. Today W-28 is on display in our Barn #4.

Ex-Toronto Railway Company (TRCo) streetcar #1326 was sent for a display at Exhibition Place during the CNE of 1978. Photos by Ron Cooper. #1326 was built in 1910, retired in 1951, and moved to our museum's property in 1954. It is now on static display in our Barn #4.

On September 15th, 1991, Ron Cooper took this photo of our Yard #2. The TTC's G. subway cars arrived here only a couple of weeks earlier. On the left was Montreal & Southern Counties Railway (M&SC) #107, which arrived here in 1956. These are now on static display inside Barn #4.

The last 2 TTC G. cars were operating after they arrived at our museum in 1991. Bill Carr took this great photo in October of that same year. Come walk through these iconic subway cars during our open hours. Thursdays to Mondays (closed Tues. & Weds.) during July and August.
