We're celebrating the Lower Roxbury Slow Streets project with a construction kick-off party! The Lower Roxbury Slow Streets planning process began in 2019. Over the years, the City worked with community members to prioritize these intersections for safety investments.

On Tuesday, June 23, England plays Ghana at Boston Stadium! We are expecting a rainy morning, but hope to have clear skies by match time! Please note, umbrellas are not permitted at Boston Stadium or on the Stadium trains. Plan accordingly.

Our Street Lighting Division continues to improve lighting infrastructure across the city. This weekend, crews completed pendant & acorn fixture upgrades in the North End & West End, while additional teams installed pendant fixtures along Washington St. in Dorchester & Comm Ave. in Brighton.
