Bad news: Scheduled for wrist surgery next week. And I’m nervous as hell. (Please send good vibes & thoughts as I panic my way through this weekend).
The history of Charlottesville is so rich. Here is a beautiful family portrait from June 19th, 1912. Location: Charlottesville’s old Kellytown neighborhood - nearby current day intersection of Preston Avenue & Madison Avenue. Photographer: Rufus W. Holsinger
So tired of the double standard. Why isn’t Trump losing consciousness constantly at every event the main news story??
Absolutely comatose.

Timeline cleanser: If you can, walk through a creek, explore a new trail, let your inner child shine. Wissahickon Valley Park lets you do all of those things & more. What a gem to have in the Philadelphia area.
The weirdest coincidence just happened. I found out that my Great (x7) Grandpa Rev. Johann Philip Streiter, the first “Strider” to migrate from Germany to Philadelphia, landed on Sept. 26th, 1737 - while Benjamin Franklin (only 31 years old) was working a few blocks away at the Philadelphia Gazette.
Take a break & watch these baby sparrows cool off in their pool (aka bird bath).
Timeline cleanser: There’s something so cute about watching a baby Sparrow (or any other bird) discover the world around them. This one decided she wanted some cuddles from this Tortoise yard decoration made of stone.
If “Mitch McConnell” can’t return to the Senate next week - he needs to be replaced. This is ridiculous. And Democrats need to scream it from the mountaintops.
Photos aren’t proof in 2026. He needs to go on live TV and answer questions.
BREAKING: Mitch McConnell says he was hospitalized because of a fall and developed mild pneumonia, in first statement on his condition. His office released this photo:
