wishda@wishda.bsky.social · 8mo agoThey less abandoned him, and more that this is how places handle this. When I lived in the N.C. mountains, there was a ton of messaging to bear proof your property for the winter, and it always ended with “And if you don’t, leave the bear alone until spring.”
