It's been a great couple of days so far at #perfnow, only one talk to go! The speakers are at the top of their game, as are our MCs, clocks and geography not withstanding. My little brain is overflowing.
Interesting to see @timvereecke.bsky.social showing Scalemates performance figures in BigQuery, or as I like to call it "Vereecke in the sheets..." #perfnow

Ethan Gardner "people don't understand milliseconds", I guess that's true, I mean @tkadlec.bsky.social doesn't understand 24hr clock... #perfnow
#perfnow question for Ines, I noticed you didn't mention prefers-reduced-data do you think it will get traction?
#perfnow question for Ines: Most of the focus (including reporting) seems to be origin or network, less on Scope 3 emissions. Do you see that improving?
@inesakrap.bsky.social asked on stage about crossing dodgy bridges, this is the ropiest one I've been on this year #perfnow
#perfnow another question for Marcy: there are a lot of lawsuits in the US around accessibility, some seem vexatious. Do you think they are helpful?
#perfnow question for Marcy: is the web getting more or less accessible?
Question for Tammy, lots of people are using ChatGPT for research but also now execute tasks, and it's typically not quick. Do you think we sometimes emphasise speed over usefulness? #perfnow
It's day 1 of #perfnow, I am live blogging conference notes here: stuart-mcmillan.com/blog/webperf... @perfnow.nl

We're on holiday in Plockton, on the west coast of Scotland. It's been a great week with a couple of runs so far. I'm still getting over a really bad cold, but apart from that loving life! #trailrunning youtube.com/shorts/s5k3Q...

Storm Amy forced a change of plans for this weekend, so instead of heading to the West Highland Way I decided to do a long (and slow) local route. Furthest I've run for 9 weeks and I could tell by the end! #trailrunning
Beautiful day here in Fife, Scotland. Felt great to have a Type 1 fun run, before a full day of DIY. #trailrunning #running
I love the light we get at this time of year. Just wish I had shot this a bit slower and for longer
Thanks Windows, I'll remember to put something warm under my jacket
We're just back from Chamonix, my first time in 18 years and first time with trail running shoes. And I'm happy to say I'm fitter now than I was 18 years ago. #trailrunning #running #chamonix youtu.be/399mSeALY-E

Chamonix has been everything I'd hoped for, amazing trails and fitness increase without breaking myself. Nice little run in the forest with 508m of ascent. #trailrunning
First (and biggest) run of the holidays, 1281m of ascent. Up to Plan de l'Aiguille, along the Grande Balcony Nord to Montenvers, and back to the campsite. #trailrunning
A wee video of our trip last weekend, the views were glorious. Don't think I've ever had it hotter in the Scottish hills #hiking #wildcamping #munrobagging youtu.be/-dD0PLyf1oQ

Consistency pays off. Finally tipped over into the next category in my Garmin Endurance Score. Now to aim for "elite". #running

A milestone week, first time in training I've hit an overall volume of 80km (1066m of ascent), mostly in back-to-back long runs. Now into a recovery week. #running #trailrunning www.youtube.com/watch?v=525w...

Well, that was tough going! First ever marathon distance training run, longest run by 8km, biggest overall running week at 76km. It was 664m of ascent and some of the paths were so overgrown that the going was difficult. Last 10km were hard, had IT band pain on my right knee. #running #trailrunning
