I stumbled across the 1964 film ‘Culloden’ by Peter Watkins. It relies mainly on amateur actors to portray the tragedy of the battle for those involved. Modern scholars would no doubt quibble about some of the historical detail. The anti-war message owes much to Vietnam. youtube.com/watch?v=whKK...

The plaque below marks the house where the infamous Duke of Cumberland slept prior to the Battle of Culloden on 16 April 1746. It can be found at No. 38 High Street, Nairn, but you wouldn’t find it if you didn’t know where to look. The battle was undoubtedly an awful affair. #Jacobites #Culloden

Pont Britannia. Originally a wrought iron tubular bridge designed by Robert Stephenson. It opened in 1850 to complete the rail link between London and Holyhead. The bridge was destroyed by fire in 1970 and given new life by the addition of the steel arches now so dominant. #engineeringhistory

Broken record here, but we cannot fix, save, improve, renew or whatever English universities if we only attend to taught students, DfE and OfS. Universities are major engines of research, innovation and civic good. Minimally DSIT must also be centrally in the frame. They're not big schools.
