Tried Ann Droid on iPlayer - wasn't too keen going off the trailers but it's surprisingly good - silly performance from Diane Morgan balanced with a heartfelt one from Sue Johnston really works.

Watched Exit 8 - oooh that was fun. I love how the camera drifts around the characters driving your attention wherever it wants you to go, interesting character and thematic drive for the story, unpredictable. Don't know if it's better than backrooms, I need to watch that again

So there's this script coverage service I keep seeing ads for that says it'll read your script and tell you what's wrong with it and they keep using famous films as examples. Problem is: if this famous film succeeded despite it's supposed problems...what's the point of the feedback?

Just finished watching the animated Evil of the Daleks. The story is great but it's so weird and all over the place. Starts with "so there's this guy who's selling Victorian antiques, but they're brand new, almost like they've been brought from the past into now" - nah that's not the hook.

Just saw Stewart Lee's new show in St Albans. The fire alarm went off towards the end and we had Stewart Lee dressed as a werewolf with a prosthetic penis announcing he is our fire marshall ordering us to evacuate the venue....its been a strange evening.
