So, idle hands are the devils workshop. Am contemplating this as an addition to the team. 1962 Barney Kessel
Gibson/Fender Guy Living with Golden Retrievers 🇨🇦
@studio335.bsky.social
Vintage Gibson and Fender guitar player/collecter. Golden Retriever's since 1989. Retired guy in Picton, ON. Home studio - Room 335, named after a favourite ES-335 🎸 player! Strong BLUE supporter from Canada! Keep them in check!
..But I heard he can tie his own shoelaces.....
Saw one of these live at a music in the park show yesterday. Really cool…
It’ll always be Lake Ontario and Gulf of Mexico to me.
Ps. Nice to see a player not staring down at the fretboard. You look in the zone. Great feeling
Great post, Joe. And picture. Really fine looking axe. I’m a small home studio player now, so volumes are mid. I’ve other 335’s and they all sound a bit different yet recognizable. Any feedback has to be earned, doesn’t come from volume. I also have a spousal unit to consider! 🎸🎸 Cheers
My Guitar of the Day...New to me 2013 Gibson ES-335 Studio (no F Holes). Loaded with Seymour Duncan Antiquities! Nestled between a couple of other 335's. '65 Cherry all stock and a '88 Custom Shop loaded with Joe Bonamassa Dot '59 buckers. @bdonnelly.pixelfed.social.ap.brid.gy
My newest acquisition, (for any Gibson ES-335 aficionados here)....Middle: 2013 ES-335, Memphis, but no F holes....it sounds amazing. Seymour Duncan pups are brilliant. It is fitting in with others - '65 Cherry (L), '88 Heritage Custom Shop. (R) Doing a bit of tone comparison tonight.
I stand with Canada, not Trump. I stand with Ukraine, not Trump. I stand with NATO, not Trump. I stand with the free world, not Trump. You?
From now on, Canadians will refer to the United States as Epstein Island.
No truer words have been spoken.
I agree. Everyone complains but offer up no other solutions. I’m talking to you PP.
I don't understand why people doubt PM Carney's comprehension or knowledge of how things work.
One of the best jazz albums ever. I just played the vinyl yesterday. Perhaps another spin today would be in order....
Happy 67th anniversary to the all timer of all timers. #jazzsky (Best cover. 😎)
Oh Oh....NGD! As I think Brittney Spears once sang....Oops I did it again.... 2013 ES-335 - Studio This particular ES-335 has a set of Seymour Duncan Antiquities that sound absolutely incredible. That'll make 3, 335's.....now, suggestions as to how to tell the spousal unit would be appreciated?
My ES-175 collection for those interested..... L-R 1979, 1967, 1980 next to the same 1979. Keen eyes will notice a bit of a Rockman module fetish (guilty). No, I don't generally use the jazz boxes through that gear. Usually a JC-120, JC-40 or 1968 Deluxe.
A wee bit of eye candy for the jazz'ers in the audience - 1960 ES-330....plays sweet. I've had it about 50 years now. Cost a pittance compared to todays prices.....
Ah, my vintage Melody Maker.
My players of choice today… 1981 Les Paul Pro Deluxe and 1988 Gibson Custom Shop ES-335. Playing through either Fender Blues Jr or perhaps a Boogie
Pink is a solid woman: smart, talented and family oriented.
I’ll never forget superstar singer-songwriter Pink saying that people who still support the orange felon at this point are an insult to humanity, goodness and human rights. And I couldn’t agree more.
This sad, but true. I really don’t need a smart fan. I want one that turns on and off. Why do manufacturers think everything needs a remote control?
When technology becomes all too much, Sometimes you need to step back. Sadly now If you do, You'll be excluded from mainstream society as there is no alternative backup. We have allowed everything to become 'Smart' from telephones to washing machines. So when the system crashes, Who will help you?
Jon Ossoff has the magic that few who enter politics have & can’t be taught. You have it or you don’t. He has it in abundance & combines it with devotion to his family, a tireless work ethic, and a proven track record of winning a state controlled by Republicans. Not a bad combo.
