Been checking out, once again, some Arion manga by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, and it's baffling why this hasn't been published in English/NA yet. Greek classics (though Arion is more like a Greek classics fantasy) are always in fashion. And it's so goddamn gorgeous. YAS was killing it back then. #manga

My current #animatic #storyboard proof of concept project is coming out nicely. Might even release in the next week or so. It's been great to get back to boarding/editing for the past couple of months, and with a plan to do a multi-part thing going forward too... idk, we'll see where this takes me..

I'm really digging the directing; it is so restrained to its 2D medium, without the use of extraneous 3D camera shots (the 3D CG camera and some character work on this show is done so well it's seamless) and it just makes the pacing so much faster, even at the behest of all the techno jargon. 10/10
