Squeezed out a new patch today. The most notable feature is that the clock on the Scarlet Devil Villa now works.

I've been busy making assets so that most of the remaining work will just be scripting events. Here's a shot of one where Momiji takes Minoriko out to a nice tengu restaurant.

What's that? A second Bi Score album release in 2026? The OST for Touhou Farming: Minoriko's Homestead Harvest is coming soon! With tracks from us, @teeveeterminal.bsky.social and Axel Hellsten, it will be available on Bandcamp and streaming when the game hits its 1.0 full release later this year!

Touhou Farming is (like all other Steam games) on sale again! The game has lots of new stuff since the last sale, like greatly improved NPCs with friendship scenes, new farm doodads like grafted fruit trees and greenhouses, dastardly crows and rabbits for Serious Mode players, and lots of QOL!

A little preview of Chimata, soon being added as the traveling merchant of the game. She shows up on the days after it rains!

WIP of the ingame map. Decided to make it part of the next update. It's (mostly) pixel accurate, so it will be able to display NPC positions and allow fast travel. (In Serious Mode, fast travel costs a few minutes.)

Decided to take advantage of NPCs being able to ignore walls for a few spots in their new schedules. It's not a problem as long as you can reach them!

While you might be waiting for Touhou Farming updates, have you tried ASTROLANCER? It's on sale for only $3 and has near perfect reviews! It's a hybrid shmup based on The Guardian Legend and has difficulty settings that should suit anybody.

I want to push the update tonight, but while stress testing the cutscenes (by setting everyone's friendship to max and letting them all play in a row walking into town) I found there's apparently some kind of memory error I need to get to the bottom of.

Welcome back to Touhou Tuesday! Today we're posting one of our conversational themes. This is our "friendly conversation" theme that plays during specific in-game events! We took the original, "Road of the Misfortune God ~ Dark Road," and really turned it on its head here. Please enjoy!

Nemuno! She'll be added as a proper NPC later (every farm sim needs a guy living out in the wild) but she'll make an early appearance in certain events.

Some characters appear in events as cameos, and I won't spoil who, but it wouldn't hurt to show a few that are already in the game.

New Yukari art. She wears the purple dress in spring/summer and the sage outfit in fall/winter.

Some new/corrected portrait art (old <- -> new) A more alluring Kaguya. I went ahead with the vantablack hair I decided against last time.
