Wer hier mitliest, wird meine Odyssee mit dem Preamp aus Belarus mitbekommen haben. 1. Der Amp war alles Geraffel wert. Der ist fantastisch! 🔥🙏🏻 2. Wer so (siehe Bild) mit seinen Kunden umgeht, verdient es, dass man da auch wieder einkauft. 😀 Scheiß auf Zoll und elendige 62 Tage Lieferzeit. 🤘🏻
Ich hätte nicht erwartet, dass die ruhigen Bewegungen eines Baukrans meditativ sein können – aber da sitze ich nun tiefenentspannt auf dem Balkon und sehe mir das an. Für den Neubau in meiner Siedlung wurden einige alte Buchen platt gemacht. Nicht für den Neubau. Für den Kran. Ambivalent gerade.

Also, das ist dann der Versuchsaufbau. Zwei-Kanaliger 'Kartakou Colossus' Röhren-PreAmp, in den das Intellifex eingeschliffen ist. Der PreAmp-Out geht in den FX-Return des Orange; ich nutze nur die Endstufe. Der Loop (Intellifex) des Colossus ist, wie die Kanäle, schaltbar über Footswitch. 😮💨 #mng 🤩

How not to ruin your screw holes: Turn it backward until you hear a click (you’ll feel it too). That means the threads are properly engaged. Then screw it in as usual. 👍🏻 #guitar #guitarsky
You can see the difference really clearly here. The last three frets have been polished—using barely any polish. I use the MusicNomad Fretboard Care Kit.

It gives enough protection, and you don’t need to tape the whole fretboard—the guard itself is pretty flimsy, so I wouldn’t polish without extra protection. Just use a bit of polishing paste—less is more!

Humbuckers on a guitar with a arched top (for example Les Paul, ES335) are rarely—if ever—parallel to the strings. I use foam to level them out.
