I’m just so frustrated, sad, and bitter all the time now and it’s been very hard to keep it contained in places and with people I don’t want that spilling out to. There‘s so many things contributing that as soon as I make peace with one, the other rears its head. A hydra of pain and anger.

Our local watering hole, a place my husband and I have been regulars at for 6 years, built a community around, and treat as a treasured 3rd space, abruptly closed last night and I feel like I lost a part of my soul. A devastating loss in a time where we need connection more than ever.

Here's my last assignment for my 2D animation course with Animation Mentor. Studying the Preston Blair's animation pointers inspired me to use a Tom and Jerry character for a basic head turn and take, so here's the white cat (apparently named Toodles Galore) lookin cute and getting startled.

Just gonna start regularly reposting this, still looking for storyboard work. Also open to doing revisions, supervising, directing. Would love another animation gig!

So Wacom finally decided to pull the plug on my Cintiq 13HD. Kind of a barbaric move but I am wondering if anyone knows of a way to ensure continued support, either through a plugin or something of a similar vein. Any input would be appreciated.

I finally started the job I've been trying to onboard for for weeks (cake decorator at a grocery store) and boy am I glad I did because I think if I'd been free to browse all day yesterday I would have crushed my phone with my bare hands. Uh also still looking for animation work. Just sayin.

Making an animated series is arduous work, often times it’s a miserable experience but the one thing that makes it all worth it is knowing I’m making a crew of actual, talented humans suffer and sometimes die by screaming orders at them. Take that away and what’s even the point??

ANYWAY heres a free directing class from animation mentor where I talk about PROCESS AND PEOPLE OVER PRODUCT. Respect the amount of work that goes into every facet of this job. The show does not just 'get handed to you' and if you feel like it does you've failed in staying connected.
