I showed this to my soon to be 24 year old who made the happiest squealing sound a person can make. “Can we go?”, they asked. “Absolutley.” I never thought I would see them tour the states, let alone to one of the best and most intimate of venues in the Midwest (and close to home).
So this speech was basically the equivalent of your racist uncle cornering you at a family event and asking you why you haven’t liked his all caps rant on Facebook?

Hopefully you won’t notice that the economy sucks & you are paying more for rent/gas/groceries because Republicans started another war.
Updated the comics on my wall display to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the New Universe. A failed experiment but at least Marvel was willing to take the risk at creating something new. Most of these I bought as a kid, some are copies I saved from dollar bins to replace my originals.

(This is also why I think scamming has become more prevalent/mainstreamed than ever, because so many of the New Famous have literally no marketable skills to monetize their flood of attention. So they scam. But that's another thread.)
My recent haul from Pulp Planet. It was very difficult to stick with books that were on my “Wish List”. Finished the Red Circle Sorcery run, one issue left to complete both the Witching Hour and Dark Mansion, found those pesky Scarecrow issues, and chipping away at Secret House of Sinister Love.
We finally had a chance to check out a new comic shop. Pulp Comics in Pontiac, MI. Spent a couple hours talking to Dean, his wife Melissa, and Clyde the shop doggo. An amazing selection of silver, bronze and even pre-code comics. Knocked several books off my want list while we were there. #comics
