for those out of the loop in summer 2015 i found a spam can on top of one of those bulletin board thingies with stuff about pluto in the radio dead zone in west virginia so clearly it came from space and i later stole a bowtie during a middle school band concert which it still wears to this day

Yes, this is 100% about censorship in general, and the current anti-sexual weirdness that’s going on. But a paragraph near the end of the article is especially telling… ASMR is primarily created by women. Women doing anything will always be perceived by some as inherently sexual (excerpt in comms)

This is the end result of "there are no sfw kinks" logic. Everything is a kink for someone. It doesn't matter how tame or innocuous it is; someone, somewhere, gets off to it. Amd there is no level of "toning it down" that will ever be acceptable to people whose goal is for you to not exist at all.
