Ex Jehovah's Witness. They are a cult who doesn't get nearly enough criticism or media attention.

Rewatching the Clemson LSU national title game. Could we please get football back? Also this first quarter was more of a dog fight then I remember it being.

you can’t just get used to it when it’s your loved ones being detained and when the helicopters wake you up at night but they can test the rest of the country’s ability to maintain concern about places they don’t live that are symbolically and tactically important

Am I the only one that thought the Cyclops and Giants sections of the Nolan's Odyssey were kind of bad? The third act saved the movie cause those sequences did nothing for me.

Yikes I am starting to understand why Edge of Fate killed Destiny 2. Some of the story stuff is neat, but the game and mission design is kind of terrible. You can feel how low budget it was. And they just seemed out of ways to do anything new with the engine. The matterspark stuff is just bad.

Beast of Reincarnation letting you lock cutscenes to 24FPS needs to become a standard thing. 60FPS cutscenes always look so weird.

I am so damn proud of my nephew. First in our family to go to actual 4 year college after tossing off decades of religious indoctrination from Jehovah's Witnesses. Got a nice scholarship too.

This is Fenrir. He has not yet been successful in cuddling with the cat. But thinks if he goes slow enough she might not notice. 13/10 (IG: fenrirfanclub)

Hell is Us deciding they are going to introduce boss fights 20+ hours in is an interesting decision. Probably not a good one, you have no idea how to even approach a boss fight after so many hours of muscle memory and optimized build.

Bog Standard Isekai is really good. Some of the nice slice of life stuff from good isekais, but the story and progression actually movie along pretty well and there are a ton of likable characters, it wven has a great pet. Solid magic system too. Plus I'm a sucker for a good pun.

I’m not sure this is a fair comparison in that a lot of people spending their money here see gambling as investment. They’re not having fun at all, they’re trying to crawl toward financial stability with bad tools. This isn’t entertainment; it’s desperation.

I wrote about how much Americans wagered on sports betting in 2025 and how it’s more than they spent on movies, art, museums and music combined. Read my article @fortunemagazine.bsky.social fortune.com/2026/07/26/g...

With all this Myst talk go play Blue Prince. It evoked the same feelings I had back in the 1990s playing Myst. The room placement game is set inside a massive puzzle environment that is very similar to Myst that you have to reveal with info gained from the room placement game. It is brilliant.

I hope the next From game takes some lessons from Hell is Us for gameplay and storytelling. Feels like an evolution of the genre in a lot of ways.
