Day15 sandanme playoff Sd3 Tenshōyama (L) Sd29 Tochimusashi (R) Tenshō has only lost once each basho from Aki last year til this perfect basho. Musashi joined pro sumo at sandanme due to amateur success and got a jūryō yūshō but has had injury trouble (he is just off injury leave)
Day15 J1 Asasuiryū 10-4 (L) J8 Hatsuyama 7-7 (R) AND, if Asasuiryū (brother of Asakōryū) can pull of a win, he is also in the jūryō playoff! Hatsuyama is also KK make or break #nagoyabasho2026

Day15 jūryō J2 Tokihayate 9-5 (L) J6 Shōnannoumi 11-3 (R) If Shōnan wins he takes yūshō outright. If he loses we’ll get a playoff with whomever else ends up with 11 wins in jūryō. There is a mono’ii cuz former Gōeidō saw end clearly, and gyōji decision is reversed #nagoyabasho2026
