SURGE Workforce Research Partnership

@surgeworkforce.bsky.social

The Same Day and Urgent Care Workforce Research Partnership (SURGE) is a collaboration investigating key workforce challenges within ambulance services, primary care, emergency departments, urgent treatment centres and urgent community response services.

GPs working alongside ambulance services can help free up ambulances for most serious cases, new research published in @bjgp.org has found. Through interviews with professionals, the study explored how GPs are used in UK emergency ambulance services & their effectiveness. 👉 tinyurl.com/4p8avjtw
