FGC Friends, what are some of the best beginner resources you've seen. Can be for any game, just resources/guides/videos that are easy to follow and understandable that can start at a relatively low level.

Love the validation of seeing my idea being executed. Hate when capitalism pushed me out of the idea.

Today is a great day. I coach our local Roller Derby team, and we're returning to the track locally for the first time in almost 6 years. Super excited, hoping we come out with the W, but it'll be a fun time regardless.

Super excited to see folks at EVO, much less excited to play sadly. I just can't get my skill to a level where the game is enjoyable for me and I'm really fucking bummed by that fact and feel like so many folks have tried to help and I just continue to fail.

My dayjob has a cybersecurity position that was just posted, the job would be someone who would work with me. The amount of linkedin requests I've gotten in the last 24 hours, I can only imagine this is what being an attractive woman is like on Tinder.

In the grand scheme of everything going on, my own personal problems and worries seem so small and insignificant. Still hopping for some good news this week, but if it fails to materialize, it is what it is.

Putting SF6 on the shelf for a few weeks. Feels like I'm functionally just playing the game wrong, actively getting worse day by day. Hopeful that a couple weeks to reset my brain will bring the fun back.

We hope all our FGC friends had fun at Combo Breaker this weekend. Was fun to meet so many of you and hang out. With that said, we're all back on the grind today. Looking forward to catching a lot of you at EVO this year!

I hear folks talk about how easy it is to hit master in SF6 really makes me feel like I missed some core/basic element in my fighting game education path. Picking up a new character feels absolutely foreign and it takes me weeks to learn a couple combos and how to use some normals. Learning is hard

Usually don't get hit that bad by post event blues, but I just want to go back to CB again this coming weekend.

Will yap about it more later, but CB2025 has kicked ass. My own performances less-so. SFV 1(dq)-2 Mystery 2-2 SF6 1-2 Fighting games are great, I just wish I was so much better. Lots of work to do!
