Hey everyone. I saw today that age restrictions were lifted in browsers for bluesky, so I don't have to use a VPN to lurk anymore. Mobile app is still blocked. I might go back to posting art again once I have the motivation to do so.

This'll be my last post for the foreseeable future unless the age verification rule is walked back; I'm in an area of the U.S. where that applies. If anyone has suggestions for where I could make an account elsewhere, I'll use a vpn to read them tomorrow. Will only go to twitter as a last resort.

I saw too many aspects of myself in Jax, variations of past mistakes, different kinds of masks used to hide and suffer through years worth of repression. I don't know if I'll transition or not, but I do know I won't live long if I keep hiding and ignoring these parts of myself.

I'm not sure I have the motivation to continue drawing for the foreseeable future, not until my mental health improves. I can't focus on anything, and when I can focus to make something, I hate the stuff I make. I'm never good enough.

I think the tadc finale kind of broke me. I've just been in a sort of dissociative stupor since rewatching it, and I have a lot of complex feelings I just have to sit with. Everything feels numb. I'm not ok.

Hoping to get better at drawing anatomy someday. Doesn't matter if it's too accurate or too cartoony, as long as I can get it somewhere in between the two so it looks passable and appealing enough, I'm fine with it. Trying to achieve realism at my current skill level isn't a good idea.

I love the vibe of Planetronika, it feels like a lost 2000s show from an alternate universe somehow ended up in our world. If it ends up having unapologetic fanservice and kinks like Totally Spies did, I'll support it wholeheartedly.

I'm watching the Planetronika pilot and gathering reference images to study cause I want to draw Butterfly again, and there's actually a shot where she has spirals in her eyes!!!!!

1. A new character is revealed in a show, movie, etc. 2. "Ah yes, this is nice. But what if they had spiral eyes?" 3. Get ZONKED 4. ? 5. Copious amounts of hypnoart of said character. Profit.

Fun fact: There's a secret league of hypno artists that decide what will be the new trend by hypnotizing everyone. This is how Kit now has a lot of hypno art in less than a week. jk we just hypno horny.

I find it kind of interesting that ever since I've fully gotten into and embraced hypno, if I see a character drawn with spirals in their eyes, they're instantly more appealing and beautiful to me. Spirals really do make everything better. Ring eyes are great too, of course.

Sorry for venting. This is the only account I feel safe doing that on, especially regarding current events. I'll try not to do it too often.
