A friend who wants Brad Lander to win told me she isn't ranking Zohran even though she prefers him to Cuomo. I wrote back explaining why it still makes sense for her to rank Zohran, and I wanted to share it here for any other anti-Cuomo folks who aren't otherwise inclined to rank Mamdani.

The "he's only good at making videos" comments about Zohran's campaign ring of, "the intern made that viral post" discourse and proves a fundamental misunderstanding of how valuable effective digital communication is in 2025, assuming anyone good at it is otherwise inexperienced.
My main comment on tonight's mayoral debate is that the moderators did a phenomenal job.
