My advice after #screenwriting for 20 years. #scriptsky #filmsky 🧵 Contests are scams, all of them. Script doctors, readers, reviewers, The Black List will tell you your script isn't good enough because they rely on repeat business. Gatekeepers want your script to be 100% rotten tomatoes.

#scriptsky I might be paranoid, but I’m starting to think there is no safe place to post your script online. If it’s online, and no matter how good or bad it might be, AI is going to steal from it. Right? Paranoid, I know. LOL
#scriptsky Tiny bit of writing done - did a bit more work on the novella HELL’S HARPIE’s (decided a novella was better suited to this story). And then did some math. And now it’s too hot to cook, so I’m having a cheese and tomato sandwich on spelt bread (which tastes like nutty sourdough).
#scriptsky Nate has it right. You have to have feedback, preferably from a trusted reader who will be honest. Or you can use a peer review site like StoryPeer, which gets decent results.
