We Are The Pipettes was released twenty years ago today, if you want a reminder that decrepitness is close. The local date on the pre-album tour is still the hottest gig I've ever been to (heatwave ending in torrential rain that night)

Three weeks ago we had an exchange of emails about potentially putting on a gig in a room in Leicester that we've never promoted at before. Today the venue was repossessed. So this local scene is going well.
