Talking all about Chicago Sports! 🏈 🏀 ⚾️

I watched that Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story last night and I wanted to rank the Bears cameos based on their acting ability. So here it goes: 1. Ben Johnson 2. Dan Hampton 3. Mike Singletary 4. Peanut Tillman 5. Colston Loveland 6. Cole Kmet

I expect the Cubs lineup to look similar to 2026 whenever opening day arrives. Unless there is an unforeseen trade or injury, the infield of Busch, Hoerner, Swanson, and Bergman will remain. Pete will be in CF, so that leaves corner outfield, DH, and catcher as the four spots in question. Cont.

I have a pretty extensive knowledge of random Bears players, but this one has me puzzled. Does anyone remember this guy? He apparently started 9 games for the Bears in 2022. I don’t remember this guy at all, and I remember everyone.

I find it funny that the Rays and Brewers get labeled by some as the anti-analytics teams. They are literally two of the most analytics driven teams in baseball. Some people think analytics boils down to homers, walks, and strikeouts.

Guess I picked a good one to miss. Probably the most disappointing loss of the Ben era. Play up the rivalry all last year, beat em in the playoffs to finally get the upper hand, and then lay an egg in the first game after that. Ultimately easy to dismiss this game as the result of putrid QB play.

I work one Sunday every year. Of course it just so happens to land on the same day as the Bears v Packers game.

The White Sox sealed their fate with a lackluster trade deadline. With the landscape of the AL this year, why were they so passive? It cost them the division and a chance to go to the ALCS. It’s unlikely the AL will be this weak next year. Major missed opportunity.
