Le film en sois est "mhé", il pue l'amateur, t'as de l'écho et des plans dégueu, voir flou, certains acteurs sont peu inspiré, et la nouveauté du concept perd vite de son charme et devient vite un cache misère. C'est juste que c'est tellement rare ce genre de film qui fait ce genre de partie prit.
C'est comme ses adaptations de Shakespeare qui s'amuse avec la temporalité en faisant passer l'histoire a ce qui ressemble à notre époque tout en gardant le texte d'origine, comme une sorte d'Uchronie. C'est juste bizarre de voir une adaptation volontairement profane de la part d'Angel Studios.

Alors en fait, c'est un peu cool, mais ce film transpose l'histoire du Testament a une époque contemporaine. Jésus et ses apôtres sont codifier comme des militant anarchistes et les Romains comme ICE, et oui, ils sont appeler "Jesus", "Marie Madeleine", "Luke" ou "Peter".
