Beautiful Demoiselle by a pool in a bog on the Bodmin Moor today. I saw lots of discarded wings from these too, so I assume they fell prey to the many Keeled Skimmer Dragonflies patrolling the same areas.

Submerged Floating Club-rush in a stream on the Bodmin Moor today. Usually see it high and dry this time of year. Had to fish a bit out to check it wasn't aquatic Bulbous Rush. Eleogiton fluitans

Cross-leaved Heath flowering on the drier parts of Bodmin Moor today, not bothered by drought it seems. Note the whorl of 4 leaves in the 2nd photo which easily distinguishes it from Bell Heather. Erica tetralix

Colorado Stonecrop found growing in a crack in a high wall on the beach at Porthallow Beach Cornwall today. A new species for me. Sedum spathulifolium "Cape Blanco" It wasn't in flower, so I've inset a photo of what the flowers look like.
