Got around to trying Cthulhu: Death May Die. Feels like Zombicide with more upkeep. Not necessarily a bad thing but I wish the mob turns were as smooth as the player turns. Felt clunky every time we had to deal with the mobs. #boardgames

Eila and Something Shiny is a cool solo adventure board game. Only played the tutorial, but I like looping event / deck system. Interested in seeing the other mechanisms they add in the campaign. Though it does feel like a one playthrough & done kinda game, low replayability. #boardgames

Snowdale Design's Lands of Galzyr has cool ideas, kinda like a choose-your-own adventure in a cozy low stakes world with dice checks. Between this & Stonemaier's Vantage, I prefer Vantage's narrative flow & mechanics. Though I'd love to a see a PC game version of Galzyr. #boardgames
