Changa here, Sy Isn't at a level where he can even use his phone so I thought I would dive into this account to push out the word. We're really thankful for the support the community is giving us right now. We are on our 6th hospital so you can imagine our stress right now.

We've never reached out for help before but the past 7 weeks have been hell and realizing the road to recovery is going to be long so we are reaching out. gofund.me/f3770256

The 12 Cards of Christmas, Bonus Day! In 1974 my favorite animated film was UPA's "Gay Purr-ee", a musical with Judy Garland, Robert Goulet, Hermione Gingold, Red Buttons & Paul Frees. The characters are on a clear cell. the background is a paining. I made up the orange kitten for Robespierre.

A holiday card "Joyeux Noel" with cat characters from the UPA animated film "Gay Purr-ee", a decorated tree and wrapped presents.

The 12 Cards of Christmas, Day 12. 2022. This is the Fur Tree, set up in the library. Theta (the first skiltaire I created) sits with a gift. This actual size plush was made by Julie Bowman who was one of the first to sell tails at furry cons. Stay tuned for a bonus card tomorrow!

The 12 Cards of Christmas, Day11: For my 2005 card I went for a minimalist, simple graphic design. Raani (Vinson Mink), Sy (me), Seriayne, Changa (Changa Husky) I liked how this turned out.

A holiday card with 4 skiltaire (colorful alien weasels) posing in the form of the letters N O E L against a green background.

The 12 Cards of Christmas, Day 10. Skipping many years to 2004. (I may find more eventually), A photo of our real "Fur Tree" With Changa (lying), Seriayne (standing on his back), Sy (me) with Raani (Vinson) on his shoulders. "Zappy Holidays" (skiltaire are electric). Our family for over 20 years.

The 12 Cards of Christmas, Day 4. In 1982 I worked for the Subaru Tech Center (Subaru cars were imported by a US company back then). I was hired to fix the OEM radios so they would work in the US. This is Kawauso, Andre's brown/orange skiltaire and Midori (green) in a 1982 Subaru wagon.

Watercolor painted Christmas card with a green Subaru stations wagon. Two skiltaire (otter-marten like creatures) sit on the open tailgate with a decorated tree in the foreground.

The 12 Cards of Christmas, Day 3. Many of my holiday cards are groups of skiltaire. My mates and myself and friends I designed custom skiltaire for. From left to right: Tari (Ken Sample), Fanta (C/FO mascot w/video camera), Sy (me), Ora (Linda my girlfriend) and my friends Mark and Kim.

Christmas card with my art of a group of 7 skiltaire singing Christmas carols. "We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Zappy New Year" is the caption.

The 12 Cards of Christmas, Day 2. By 1978 we were redesigning the speakers based on an improved vent system. The Qysonic wizard became our new promotional mascot. My mother made a costume for me to wear at trade shows. Many companies boasted "accuracy", we decided on the "the magic of neutrality".

Christmas card for a HiFi speaker company. A wizard in brown robes transforms a small speaker in front of the larger model, already changed. Theta the skiltaire looks on, amazed.

I remembered I had an old photo of the Lantana Sable T-shirt from a CES we exhibited at. The sable character was designed by Ken Sample and was the company mascot. The sable system was a 3 or 4 piece modular speaker system with tad monitors and 1 or 2 LAug bass extender units.

Phtoto of a tan t-shirt for the Lanatna Sable speaker system with the sable mascot laying in a sensuous pose.

The 12 Cards of Christmas, Day 1. In the 70's I made Christmas cards by taking photos of art and sending the prints as postcards. the first was just a wildlife winter scene from a magazine ad, but later I started making my own art. This is Theta with my Qysonic Research speakers in 1977.

My first computer was a Pied Piper CPM machine with a built-in HD 5 1/4 floopy drive. I used a green monochrome monitor. I got it for writing. Came with Perfect Office suite, but a friend gave me Wordstar 3, which I downloaded over a 6400baud modem in 6 hours.

My first computer was an IBM ps/2 model 70 just like this with the 14 inch color monitor and loud clackety ibm keyboards of the era. It had windows 3.1 and Microsoft entertainment pack.
