Eli Roth is already a loser hack but the fact that he’s using genai in his new movie is so insulting to the horror genre. Horror has so many movies known for fantastic practical effects such as The Thing, Alien, Day of the Dead, etc… Keep genai out of movies and ALL art forms for that matter 😡

As a disabled creator who hasn’t been able to find work despite applying everywhere possible and my income relying on just Twitch and my Etsy shop, this is so disheartening. Hopefully they’ll get enough pushback on this. The AI bubble can’t burst soon enough 🫠

Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.
