Eyes are packing up due to being decrepit so had to have a dilation at the opticians. Not seen myself with eyes like this since [REDACTED] Unrelated: I just found my R&S copy of Energy Flash
Totally inhaled this, thank Cliff* I have my kindle with me. I love a good young dickhead arrogance tale and this is waaaaay up there. *In the book, hilariously Andrew Matheson: Sick On You
My lifelong quest to visit every Albert Heijn in mainland Europe brings me to Ghent. 10m around the city. Might go and have a ridic strong beer this afternoon.
#caturday with Cedric the cat who looks like he's going to kick tf off - ref: Dreamies/lack of - but, in fact, has just sandpaper licked my nose for no reason I can comprehend.
#cdfriday hyperfocus all morning, so Sarah Davachi, but now I'm done and thinking about the bank holiday and week off. Can't go into it full bore, so this as a conduit to more Friday jump-up action. Mark Hollis s/t
I was very young SHUT UP but the silver jubilee street party. Geoff Hurst off of The Football™ (who we reckon was knocking off one of the mums in the street - he was managing the local team) presented me with a trophy for winning something or other. I have the photo somewhere.
What's the first historic event that you remember?
RIP. All the good she did in the world, but jesus the *songs*. This leaves me in pieces every time I hear it.

Is it odd that this article mentions the band members, where they come from, what their album's called but not the name of the band? I'm wearing tinfoil for kicks anyway.
The British punk rock duo shouted and urged the crowd to yell "f**k Chega" while the message "F**k Chega" was shown on the stage screen.
#cdfriday and a Pavlovian return to sitting in my dad's MMB lorry cab, against all regulations, as we drove around the country lanes at dawn picking up the milk during the school holidays. The cover of this cd being the logical conclusion of that work. Bob Stanley - Wednesday Morning 6am
Best pics from last night, which didn't get *any* actual eclipse action due to a cloud appearing for a very crucial couple of minutes, nice light though. The beauty was only spoiled by drones, bt speakers, motorbikes and shirtless halfwits. People: not as nice as cats.
Well, this turned out *very* well. Half reminds me of a slightly more bog-dwelling, off-grid Animal Spirits (the James Holden thing) which I'm sure is super helpful to any potential purchasers. @polypores.bsky.social : Wildlife

'The unqualified relief and release that a breakup can be. If you have to haul years of your life to the dump you might as well have fun doing it.' #Deerhoof – Breakup Song (2012) - Quick Smart: In Praise of the Shortest Albums buff.ly/CN4mQnu
#cdfriday Vinyl is my format of choice, but for some things I'll always go for CDs for the not-turning-sides continuity and immersion. Bob Stanley comps, loooong ambient/classical bits. That sort of thing. Sunn 0))) fall into the latter category and this one, self titled, I *love*
Lovely morning out. Saw a couple of roe deer, no fallow. Now for shower, lunch, record shop and pub. Apologies in advance.
Once again, incredible gratitude to drunk me. The I don't remember ordering that merch keeps turning up! From: Power On!
Thanks for the lovely surprise, drunken me! Obviously, I *need* more library music of this period.
Paddy Considine circa Dead Man's Shoes.
You suddenly get a narrator describing your life and there’s no way to turn it off - everyone can hear it. While shopping, at work, at home, with friends - the voice narrating your every move goes on. Who do you hope is the voice of this narrator?
Let down by mammals, avians picking up the slack in the drooling shire: 11m with kestrel, reed warbler, tree creeper. I thought it was cooler today, it isn't.
#cdfriday and Cedric the cat and I are listening to mid '90s Ninja Tune in the form of: Various Artists: Ninja Cuts: Flexistentialism
