So very well-deserved - Heather’s talk was fascinating and also featured the Edderton standing stone and associated features (one of my favourite Scottish sites) 🙌 and she referred to skyscape archaeology in her talk - it was fab! An excellent decision by @tag45.bsky.social

This past weekend I had the pleasure to be for the first time at @tag45.bsky.social. A great forum where I had the chance to talk about maps, experience, affect and difference in the Talayotic landscape.
@lornarichardson.bsky.social Getting to the Bottom of Things made me feel introspective. Child of the 70s? Named Kenneth? Wears a tweedy suit and tie, even to @tag45.bsky.social. Drives a RangeRover only because #LandRover was too expensive? Aieee, my career has been shaped by #CarryOn films!
Aaargh, one tweet went missing from that last thread ... which was to thank both our amazing keynote speakers, Ian Hodder and Gill Hey! Two incredibly thought-provoking addresses, we hugely appreciate their agreeing to come along!

Rob Hedge@robhedge.bsky.social · 2y agoI also hugely enjoyed the range and quality of creative work on show at @tag45.bsky.social this year: Rachel’s prize artwork was by the hugely talented @aliceclough.bsky.social, who also produced a startling sound installation using sounds derived from archaeological archives
It's also been a privilege this morning to send out a bunch of emails to the winner of the Don Henson prize for the best debut paper, and a number of other highly commended presenters ... .... But we don't want to tell you until they know, so watch this space!
A highly of course is that we are delighted to announce this year's TAG prize winner is Rachel Crellin from the University of Leicester. Huge congratulations, very well deserved!
