actually, and this is crazy, but earlier today i found a document from 3 years ago where i wrote nearly 13k of a story i had badly been wanting to write. i didn't remember any of it. 2 or 3 straight weeks worth of work, according to the version history! crazy.

i'm reading a lot at the moment, trying to learn to write in a more focused way ... i think a lot of people mistake having a good vocabulary for being a good writer, and as a result, i don't always get very helpful critique on my work.

if you plan your life poorly enough, you too can debut your first video game one day after moving across the country and be unable to effectively market it in the weeks preceding that release due to packing boxes. (i’m doing that.)

making and launching your first game is hard. every time i think i’m done i have to make a new “random little odds and ends” checklist because there’s actually more to do that i forgot
