Progress…I started this octopus as an experiment to learn develop and push the limits on what can be done with this craft. I’ll fully admit I still don’t love it and have more work and clean up to do. But! The important part is what I learned in order to better myself and provide a better product

Been quiet lately partially because of being with family, but mostly because I started a personal project that I have fallen out of love with and pushed to the side. Some of you will understand the feeling of starting something and then pushing it away because you just aren’t sure.

The question has come up recently. “ what’s sizes can you make? “ Here is my current frame which allows me to do a fairly large size rug measuring approximately 4 feet by 3 feet or 48x36 inches or 120cm x90cm Larger sizes are possible but would incur a charge for materials to make a new frame.

A finished piece for @jax.yote.dog has made its way out the door. Loved putting this one together and truly had fun with it.

A busy week with friends and family getting back to it before another week of family coming up. Getting ready to send out a finished piece for @jax.yote.dog that I’m so so happy with. Pics coming soon. Will be posting some previously made items as well soon to show how they hold up a year later.

Wait but I thought you made rugs??? Well sometimes leather mixes into a work day. Wallets, Glasses cases and occasional bags sometimes get mixed in. Maybe a collar or two as well. Built to last, crafted one at a time. Wanna see more leather stuff or should we just keep it to tufted stuff??

Starting rugs has been a journey This was my very first rug which holds a place near and dear to me. Every rug I've made since has taught me something new, and I'm excited to keep learning, improving, and creating. Here's to many more rugs to come.
