Tai Pawb's statement in light of current discourse around the death of Henry Novak. Our deepest sympathies go out to the family of Henry at this time. And as a charity dedicated to housing equality and anti-racism, we echo their call for his tragic death not to be used to create division.

Baseless rhetoric that stokes division only harms the essential, structural work required to address institutional bias and build public trust.Tai Pawb remains firmly committed to our ongoing antiracism programmes. We will continue working constructively to ensure everyone, regardless of their background, can live in safe, inclusive and cohesive communities

We are a member of Homes For All Cymru, the collective voice of third-sector housing and homelessness organisations in Wales. We share the concerns of @welshrefcouncil.bsky.social, and are troubled about the potential impact these changes could have on homelessness for people seeking sanctuary in Wales. Our commitment in Wales is to deliver a Nation of Sanctuary, these proposals are difficult to reconcile with this aim.
