Console Mode 1.1.3 OTA goes live on Friday. It includes over 25 new features and a new game view with larger box art that looks great on low-res CRT. You can now also set custom sound effects and BGM. Here’s a cursed match up of a PSP and a Wii.
We delayed this release from last month until today to fix issues and to cook. Here’s a new game view called Big Grid. It looks great on CRT.
Console Mode drops later today. Get ready.
We added PS1 controller support and CRT mode. Still ironing out bugs, but it works well.
The first major release of Console Mode beta drops this week with a ton of features. Two new game views, on device artwork scraping, screenshot viewer, resolution switching, retro achievement support, and per game core overrides. All with double the performance of earlier builds.

How many features can you cram into a PlayStation memory card?
This is the best SUPER5 OLED system I’ve seen. It’s hard to believe FF7 RE runs this well on a Switch Lite.
I’ve been wondering why I’ve been hearing about Open Claw so much in China lately and then I saw this pop up on an employee’s computer today….
The office is closed for the first weekend in a long time. I'm working on a main channel SS1 unboxing/first look with a ton of info from the full dev journey (possibly including fabrication/fulfillment). Is there anything you'd like to see covered? I'm a semi-open book.
I just want to put this out into the universe again. If you are a homebrew game dev of a system that runs on MiSTer (GB, NES,MD, etc) with a free version or a free demo of you game, I’d love to include it in SuperStation’s Season 1 Homebrew DLC Pack. forms.gle/aAja7HEZQnga...
Nintendo Switch 2’s new Handheld Mode Boost is exactly what I asked for in my review last year:
Wave 5 is in production now, which includes every remaining FE SS1 + a chunk of batch 2. Wave 6 goes into production tomorrow. It includes the rest of batch 2 and all of batch 3. SuperDock production will scale faster due to shorter PCB turnaround times.
We are now assembling/shipping SuperStation v1.2.3 (wave 4) in the second office. We have 14 testing stations and 16-32 spots for assembly and packing. To put this into context, we only had a single testing station for wave 1, and only had enough space for 4 people to assemble.
4 years ago, I started filming an ambitious series to document the process of bringing a handheld from idea to production. I set target @ ~$20, with perf that matched ~$70 devices. Filmed everything and paused before MP to make Retro Remake. The RAM alone for that is now $20….
The saga continues. Azkali added 1080p Android support for SUPER5 OLED.
With A LOT of help from developer Azkali, we have 1080p display support for the Switch Lite with an OLED screen. Truly insane.
