Without the online friends I’ve made over the years, some of whom have become offline friends (even recently!), I would be a much, much lonelier person. Social media feels evil sometimes, but it makes some miracles too.

No literally the people who have a lot of friends/groups irl don’t realize how incredibly privileged they are I only have a social life because of the internet because my various mental illnesses make it extremely hard to connect with people

I'm starting to notice a rise in performative hatred of films, TV shows, musicians, and novels where people obsess over things and have to moralize their dislike of something. It's not enough to dislike Star Wars or that Hazbin show. They have to represent EVERYTHING wrong with art. Like ok?

I should clarify that Shayy is also a bad person, to my knowlege they did groom people. But it's the double standard that Cishet men will always get defended, for sometimes way more despicable crimes.

Willow 🏳️⚧️@tallmist.bsky.social · 2d agoThe only way to make me touch Fortnite again is if Hazbin or Helluva comes to it, but Vivzie rightfully hates generative ai while Fortnite loves it, so I can't see that happening.
My hatred for Gen AI knows no bounds. If your game has gen AI I will not play it, if your store has AI flyers I will not shop there, if your con does not have a strong stance against AI I will not attend. If everyone who was truly against gen AI was the same, it would be gone by now.
