Am I wrong to worry about Hong’s general election electability for this primary vote? Crowley seems fine, I guess, and I want to believe we can do better, but I have lost a lot of faith in other humans to vote for more rather than same or worse.

Nothing says “USA” like shooting off professional grade fireworks in a small neighborhood til after midnight and leaving your shrapnel all over your neighbor’s yards and roofs. This is just what I didn’t hit with the lawnmower this morning 🙄
Love having neighbors who are thousands-of-dollars-worth-of-mortar-shell fireworks people. Currently hiding in the basement with Maple who can’t stop shaking.
Just finished Dungeon Crawler Carl (all 8 of em) in about 6 weeks. Now what will I do with every second of my day? Work? Care for my family? Ugh… A lot of fantasy series start to drag the deeper you get (looking at you, Wheel of Time, ASOIAF) but this really ripped to the end.
It absolutely kills me that hacksacks are back. I have flashbacks from the 90’s going to the kiosk in the mall to buy one, working a hole in it to remove some beads and soften it up, then sewing it back together. I told all this to a teen this week and they looked at me like I had two heads.
