my biggest gaming red flag is when a director or someone not in the creative/marketing dept tries to sell me a game during a showcase, making the trailer far longer than it should be. it means to me their game just dont have enough to show for it. and it's almost always spot on.
Broken Reality 2000 has some amazing bits of mexican humor ngl, loving it
Started yesterday night, stayed up late and just couldn't put it down today after the mandatory daily coops with friends. It was SO GOOD. It felt carefully put together with just enough info to never have to second guess. Fantastic game, Strange Antiquities #playitplease
I wanna play that L'Amerzone remake so bad I played it on Playstation when I was young and man was it crappy but I managed to get pretty far but never completed bc I didnt have the other CD. Tempted to get that Humble Bundle.
Got something for my bed. If there's one thing I can't have enough of, it's Diet Coke.
The best part about indie games is when I play them and ignore the people online yelling about <current algorithmically relevant topic> Also Strange Antiquities is SO fxcking good ngl
I've been away for a while bc I've been gaming. Here's a list of what I've played this week: - Palworld w friends - Studio Sim (100%โญ) - Squeakross - Strikers Club w friends (100%โญ) - Confidential Killings (100%โญ) - Database Detective - Deck of Haunts - Treasure Beach - Strange Antiquities
Excited for Broken Reality 2000 not only bc it's from a mexican dev but I'm a huge fan of the aesthetic and type of game it is. Remember to support your friendly neighborhood indie dev!
Reco for those who enjoy minimalistic logic puzzle games, it's similar to the Squarecells and Hexcells series but combines both types of levels and incorporates different mechanics. The ending theme during the credits was real nice too. Check out Cipher Zero if that sounds like your thing.
Last week I was sad I couldn't find a nearby store to get some figures to decorate my room. Well, they opened just around the corner this week and I got these. Just need to find out if there's a Bon Clay and I'll have all 3 of my favorite One Piece characters. Still cant find good posters tho lol.
Played Strikers Club yesterday with some friends. Reminds me of Rematch but at least it doesn't have an access fee you feel remorse about paying. It's a fun and free soccer simulator, I wish you had the option to swap positions. Some lag issues but probably bc I play with friends from SouthAm.
Yes, I heard the great news about the New Vegas remaster. This is pretty much all that I have to say about it, unfortunately. It's a shame, because this should have been an overwhelmingly joyous time for me. The industry has tarnished this. It tastes bitter.
Started Message from Deep Space & loving it so far, it's about decoding and translating a signal from intelligent lifeforms. It gets real brainy as being comfortable math and algebra are required to solve some of the puzzles (really nicely tied in by the lore I gotta add).
Completing PowerWash Simulator 2 Star Wars pack only thing that really felt missing were a couple of tunes tbh. Otherwise, I'd recommend you get it on sale if you don't really feel like spending rn It takes about 3 hours, less in coop I'd imagine. ymmv
#justfinished Lost Wiki: Kozlovka, a small detective / OS simulator about a town with a history of tragedies. Good for a nice chill afternoon/evening at home, the end feels a bit abrupt but for what it's worth it was enjoyable. #indiegame Link in comments.
Man tomorrow on the indie game releases calendar is just insane. And Desktop Explorer on Friday and walk on Saturday. GOATed Summer ๐ฅ Denshattack! and Teeto out today too we are so blessed with indie games ๐ซฐ๐ฆ๐ฎ
Tomorrow's the big day, and Moss: The Forgotten Relic just surpassed 200,000 wishlists. In 2 months. ๐ญโค๏ธ The dream to bring Quill's story to more players has been years in the making, and we're incredibly proud of the work put into this game. Thank you everyone!!
If you like #indiegames like those at @thinkygames.com I can vouch for The Incident at @galleyhouse.bsky.social , easily one of most satisfying puzzle games of 2026. Feels like a mix-up between identity deduction gameplay (a la Obra Dinn) and TR-49's code-based navigation. 100% reco #playitplease
Played 9 hours yesterday. Turned off PC at 4AM. Woke up to have less than an hour left to go, but an What a fantastic game @eviltrout.com @galleyhouse.bsky.social thank you so much for making this, strong contender for the best puzzle game this year, a treat for deduction & investigation fans!
Been waiting for this one ever since the announcement on Discord. The Roottrees are Dead is just a fantastic take on Return of the Obra Dinn and EvilTrout's involvement is as good a guarantee of investigation & deduction quality gameplay as you can get imho. Ready to dive right in later today!
We've been very excited for this Type Help remaster, and today is the day! Check out Megan's review of The Incident at Galley House from @eviltrout.com and William Rous ๐

After playing through Our Wonderland (which I remind you is partaking in #NonBinaryCodedGames Event on Steam) I'm in the mood for some puzzles so I'm playing Logiart Grimoire by Jupiter Corp (THE dev when it comes to picross imho). LogiArt & Squeakross are easily my favorite nonogram games!

This #indiegame best described as "the road to hell is paved with good intentions" in the context of the question: 'What happens when you try to make everyone around you happy and end up forfeiting yourself?' Blood-pumping, tear-jerking, heart-warming, it has a bit of everyone of us #playitplease
"VERIFY YOUR AGE" Starts BLARING the Super Mario Bros. Ground BGM.
Started playing through Our Wonderland (s.team/a/4329100) by @justacarrot.bsky.social and GOD DAMN is it good, I'm hooked but I kinda really want a personal rabbit attendant ngl.
