I just finished “The Gales of November,” and it was an amazing book on the SS Edmund Fitzgerald, the ship immortalized by the Gordon Lightfoot song. I remember the song growing up and watching the documentary about raising the Fitz’s bell 25 or 30 years ago, which got me interested in the story.
