I have been in the most close to a reading slump I am able to have. For the last couple of months, it seemed that except for Terry Pratchett, nothing I read really satisfied me. Until now!!! #bookquotes #booklover #fantasybooks #bookish #judyilin

Ok, I know I share a lot of quotes when it’s Discworld books. The reason being that this writing is pure gold!!! #bookquotes #booklover #fantasybooks #bookish #terrypratchett #discworld

The summer is officially over and at least for me, that means nesting time is starting. So it's even more important to remember that we need to disconnect from the online space and connect with life more. How do you do it in colder times, when being cozy and warm at home is the only thing you want?

When I think that Granny Weatherwax cannot get better, she goes into a whole different level. And I’m going to be honest, seeing an old witchy lady being the biggest intelligent bad ass MC you can possibly find it’s kind of refreshing. #bookquotes #booklover #fantasybooks #terrypratchett #discworld

Well, "quite like" may be kind of an euphemism. But the rest is real! Full Video at www.patreon.com/TaniaGomesArt #artprocess #artistprocess #makingart #studioprocess #artreels #3dart

I can never get tired of the amazingly clever irony with which Terry Pratchett simply… writes! #bookquotes #booklover #fantasybooks #bookish #terrypratchett #discworld

I’ve been focused on some new art projects and on my new Patreon, and was feeling that maybe I would leave battle maps behind, that maybe they are not my thing anymore, cause I didn’t feel like doing them anymore.

Ok, this one is more in the style of Howl’s Moving Castle Again. ☺️ Chaotic whimsical story full of magic! And it’s a really fun story. Besides, a main character that only wants to read all day and is always being interrupted by life is kind of relatable. Eheheh.

This one was hard to keep a secret, but now that the Discworld RPG Starter Set is out, I can finally share with the world that I had the privilege of doing both maps for it - one of the Sto Plains and one of Ankh Morpork city! #fantasymap #cartography #rpg #battlemaps #illustration #discworld

Although this book is not half bad, and it can be an easy and entertaining read, as a sequel to Howl’s Moving Castle … it doesn’t really hold. It also didn’t age well in some aspects. Funny little story though. #bookquotes #booklover #fantasybooks #howlsmovingcastle

In such a fast paced world, taking time to pay attention to our needs is harder and harder. No wonder mental health issues are on the rising. You will never be emotional and mentally healthy while ignoring your basic needs. Full video on www.patreon.com/c/TaniaGomes...

When I saw Howl’s Moving Castle movie, I didn’t know there was a book. And I’m happy for that, cause I loved the movie, and Miyazaki’s animations are always absolutely beautiful, unique, and amazingly whimsical! But the story and characters in the book are so much more interesting!!! #booklover

The Terranum map, done for a homebrew RPG campaign, had some really nice details. #fantasymap #cartography #dnd #pathfinder #battlemaps #illustration

Oh, Rincewind is back. 😁 Our cowardly hero of coincidence! #bookquotes #booklover #fantasybooks #terrypratchett #discworld

This is sometimes hard to remember. It's easy to believe that if we can only do a very small step, then it's not worth it. But 1 tiny small step a day are still 365 small steps a year... Full video on www.patreon.com/c/TaniaGomes... #drawing #mentalhealth #patreon #creativediaries #smallsteps

Although a bit unrelated with these specific quotes, but very in line with the story itself... did Terry Pratchett wrote about the issues we are facing now with AI decades ago?? In a fantasy world, with a machine created by wizards, in a genius ironic metaphor? Kind of amazing.

Some cool details of the the Hastovia map, made for the book series "Heroes of Hastovia". I will soon start to draw more maps again, but for now will share some details of older works. #fantasymap #cartography #dnd #pathfinder #battlemaps #illustration

Unseen University seems more and more hilarious in each book. 😅I guess they really needed an archchancelor that wasn’t rapidly murdered. They needed stability to go fully crazy! Wait, I might be into something here… #bookquotes #booklover #fantasybooks #terrypratchett #discworld

Sometimes our greatest difficulties become our most loved passions. My path with drawing was definitely not easy or straight forward, but I am happy that I found my way back to it despite everything. #drawing #mentalhealth #patreon #creativediaries #artistlife

Also, there’s some nice sarcastic humour, which I always love!! Eheh #bookquotes #booklover #fantasybooks #JohnGwynne

This map is still one of my favourite maps ever. It's still weird for me how I nailed the light so well. In a time where I am prepareing myself to dedicate to my personal projects more again, looking at the details of this map is highly motivating. #fantasymap #dnd #pathfinder #battlemaps

So this was one of those series that I was really happy to finish… knowing I don’t have to keep reading it anymore. But at the same time, the fact that I read the four big books despite not having the best reading experience with them says a lot. #bookquotes #booklover #fantasybooks #JohnGwynne

It was still not this summer that I picked my photograph machine and my macro tubes to recover a beloved hobby. But I still took some interesting photos with my phone. A huge thanks to the beautiful bee that allowed me to get so close to her without flinching one bit. 💚 🐝

I found out what’s my issue with this series. Too much detailed description of all fights. #bookquotes #booklover #fantasybooks #JohnGwynne

No better moment to share a detail from "The Blood and Flame Saga" fantasy map than now, when the special edition of the first book of the series, "Dragon's Kiss" is coming on Kickstarter! It's absolutely beautiful, and there's even the possibility that it will have this map in full color print!! 🤩

This dragonfly inspired space mechanism is one of the most effective bug spy in space. It can easily encroach any spaceship and save huge amounts of data that it can then bring back to you. #geometry #scifi #illustration #orbitalengine #futuristic #cyber

It has been challenging to put my Patreon + social media working with a structure that works for me and doesn't overwhelm me a ton. Ufff... I miss drawing maps! 😅 So here's a nice detail of one of my battle maps. #fantasymap #cartography #dnd #pathfinder #battlemaps #illustration #geometry #magic

I liked Valour more than Malice, but there’s still something about this series that makes the reading a bit boring for me, and I still can’t understand what. #bookquotes #booklover #fantasybooks #JohnGwynne
