If you love mechs you need this book. Beautiful designs and worldbuilding. The whole thing is written like an in-universe pop-history coffee-table book, with dry wit from the fictional history professor who wrote it. And there is a narrative that weaves between the history entries for each mech.

Recoil is an issue for all Tankheads, but with artillery types it becomes one of the defining factors. The Wespe stabilizes itself for firing by taking on a peculiar squatting pose, resting on its haunches and the stabilizers in its rear skirt. #tankhead #tankheadmecha
