I wish I'd realised sooner that there was #r2rconf chatter happening over on BlueSky... I'd forgotten the old habit of the conference side chat that was common on Twitter. I was missing it. It's been a rich experience, and a unique conference as far as I know.

I don't know how contracts work in the USA. How can government workers be fired without notice by email without breach of contract? How can you demand researchers do not worry on government funded research without breach of contract?
